The mission of Love, Easton
Join the community of Easton as we come together to create 28,127 hearts of all shapes and sizes to fill the windows and public spaces throughout the city in 4 weeks time. We’re turning the city into a gigantic art piece that embodies the kindness, creativity, and good vibes for which Easton has become known!
Why are we doing this? To play and have fun as a community while highlighting, in a big way, what makes Easton so special: the people and their love for this quirky little city of ours.
Why 28,127 hearts? That’s one for each Easton resident.
When is this happening? Jan. 9th-Feb. 8th: Make and hang hearts. Feb. 9th-Mar. 9th: Hearts are installed and enjoyed by all!

Memories we can create together
How will we make these hearts? We are asking the ENTIRE community to help make hearts: residents, businesses, students, friends, families, and anyone else who loves our city. All shapes, sizes, and materials are welcome. Get creative! Use all kinds of paper (newspaper, magazine, old bills…recycle!), fabric, or draw hearts on your windows, or…or…or…! If you live locally, you can hang them in your windows and yard, and then turn in the rest to be used all around the city. Make them artistic or simple or bright or plain or funny… all hearts will be counted!
Where will the hearts be installed? We will focus our installation of hearts on the main corridors through all four Easton neighborhoods: Northampton Street from the Freebridge downtown to 15th Street in the West Ward and 3rd Street from the top of Cattell Street on College Hill to the top of St. John’s on the Southside. However, ALL businesses, residents, and community spaces throughout the city are encouraged to place hearts for all to see! Again…all hearts will be counted!
HANG HEARTS
Show your love by hanging hearts in your windows, or outside your home. The more the better! If you are hanging hearts yourself, click here to let us know just how many you put up, and they will be added it to our final count!
